Tara graduated from Murdoch University in 1996 with her veterinary degree and began her career in small animal practice in Perth, where she worked for three and a half years. She then spent several years practicing in London, gaining valuable experience and travelling before returning to Perth.

Since coming home, Tara has worked across general small animal practice, animal welfare and ethics, and has shared her knowledge teaching veterinary nurses at TAFE. She now focuses primarily on consultations, where she enjoys partnering with pet owners to support their pets’ health at every stage of life and helping families feel confident and comfortable as their pets grow older.

Outside of work, Tara balances her professional life with raising her three children and caring for her two cats, McLaren and Lotus.
